What is the estimated arrival date (ETA) for an item that's out of stock?

For out-of-stock items, ANVE posts the expected arrival date right on the product page and keeps these ETAs updated as we learn more. If no date is listed yet, email info@anvegroup.com and we'll give you a current estimate. You can still place your order before the item arrives; it's reserved and guaranteed for you for when the product is back in stock.

Can I purchase an item that is out of stock?

Yes, you can order an out-of-stock item from ANVE Kitchen & Bath, and your order is reserved and guaranteed for when the product arrives. We'll confirm the expected arrival date at the time you order (also shown on the product page), so your unit is locked in and ships to you as soon as it's back in stock. For a current ETA, email info@anvegroup.com.

Do you offer discounts?

ANVE prices its products very competitively as a direct importer — with no distributor, wholesaler, or middleman — so standard discounts generally aren't offered, but ANVE will price-match. If you find the same product for a lower price on another website, let the team know and ANVE will make every effort to match it. Occasional discounts are available on multiple-unit purchases, showroom samples, and scratch-and-dent items. To request a price match, email info@anvegroup.com or call the Paramus, NJ showroom at 201-742-5252.

Do you offer installation?

ANVE Kitchen & Bath does not install products, but we can recommend local installers in the Paramus and Bergen County area whom we've worked with. Stop by our showroom at 129 E Route 4, Paramus, NJ, or call 201-742-5252, and we'll point you toward installers in your area.

Shipping & Delivery

How soon can I receive my items?

Most orders arrive in about 3–7 business days after shipping. ANVE ships your order within 1–2 business days of purchase, then transit takes roughly 3–7 business days depending on your location, excluding weekends and holidays. Shipping is free on all orders. Once your order ships from our New Jersey location, we email a tracking number, and the freight carrier contacts you to schedule a delivery appointment.

How much is shipping?

Shipping is FREE on all orders at ANVE Kitchen & Bath, sent via freight carriers. Orders ship within 1–2 business days and typically arrive in about 3–7 business days depending on your location (excluding weekends and holidays). Items over 100 lbs ship by LTL freight; items under 100 lbs ship via UPS, DHL, or USPS. We also deliver with our own trucks within a 50-mile radius of Paramus, NJ. Note that remote, rural, or limited-access addresses may incur additional carrier charges.

Can I place an order and have a delayed shipping date?

Yes. ANVE can store your purchased items free of charge for up to 30 days from the purchase date, so you can buy now and have us hold your order until you're ready to receive it. Just let us know your preferred timing when you order, or contact us at info@anvegroup.com or 201-742-5252 to arrange it.

How is my item shipped?

Your item is shipped free via freight carrier, with the method based on weight. Orders over 100 lbs ship by LTL freight; orders under 100 lbs ship via parcel carriers like UPS, DHL, or USPS. Within a 50-mile radius of our Paramus, NJ location, ANVE also delivers with its own trucks. Every order is inspected and prepackaged at the factory with cartons and foam protection, then placed on pallets and secured with straps for safe transit.

How do I know when the freight will arrive?

After your order ships, ANVE emails you a shipping notification with a tracking number. For freight (LTL) shipments, the carrier then contacts you in advance to schedule a delivery appointment (date and time). Someone must be present to receive the order and sign for it. If you miss the scheduled appointment, a $95 redelivery charge applies, so please confirm a time when the carrier reaches out.

What should I expect when the freight arrives?

Expect curbside delivery only: the freight carrier unloads your item off the truck but does not bring it inside your home (they may place it in the driveway or garage if space allows). Because delivery is curbside and items can be heavy, it's a good idea to have help on hand. Before signing the Bill of Lading, inspect all boxes for visible damage; if anything is damaged, refuse the shipment, note it on the Bill of Lading, and email photos to info@anvegroup.com for a free replacement. Keep all original packaging, as it's required for any return.

What if I miss my scheduled delivery appointment?

If you miss your scheduled freight delivery appointment, the carrier will reschedule it and a $95 redelivery charge applies. Because all ANVE shipments use curbside freight delivery, the carrier contacts you in advance to book a delivery date and time, and someone must be present to receive and sign for the order. To avoid the redelivery fee, confirm the appointment window works for you and arrange help to be home. Questions? Call 201-742-5252 or email info@anvegroup.com.

Do I need to be present for the delivery?

Someone must be present to receive and sign for your freight delivery, but it does not have to be you — anyone you authorize can accept and sign the Bill of Lading on your behalf. Make sure your designated person knows to inspect every box for visible damage before signing and to keep all packaging, which is required for any return. If a scheduled appointment is missed, a $95 redelivery charge applies, so confirm someone will be home for the carrier's scheduled window.

Returns, Damage & Warranty

What's the warranty on your products?

ANVE Kitchen & Bath warrants its products to be free of defects in material and workmanship for one (1) year from the date of purchase. If a part is proven defective within that period, we will repair or replace it free of charge. The warranty covers replacement parts only — labor charges are not included. To start a warranty claim, email photos and your order details to info@anvegroup.com.

What if I change my mind after placing an order?

Once your order is confirmed and payment is initiated, it generally cannot be canceled or changed, since full payment is required to start any order. If you decide to send the item back after it ships, you can return it under our 30-day return policy: unused, uninstalled, undamaged items in their original packaging earn a full refund excluding original shipping, but you're responsible for return freight both ways. Items returned without original packaging carry a 25% restocking fee. Custom orders, cut-to-size tops, kitchen cabinets, tile, and final-sale items are non-returnable. Questions? Email info@anvegroup.com.

What if the products get damaged during shipment?

If your order arrives with visible damage, refuse the shipment, note the damage on the Bill of Lading, and email photos to info@anvegroup.com — ANVE will send a free replacement at no extra charge. Always inspect every carton before signing for the delivery, since signing accepts the goods as received. If you only discover damage after opening the boxes (concealed damage), file a claim within 5 business days with photos and your order details for an authorized replacement.

What if there's damage inside the cartons (concealed damage)?

For concealed damage found after opening the cartons, file a claim within 5 business days of delivery by emailing photos plus your order details to info@anvegroup.com, and ANVE will send an authorized replacement at no extra charge. This differs from visible damage at delivery, which you should refuse on the spot and note on the Bill of Lading. Keep all original packaging, and for minor imperfections like small chips or paint variation, ANVE provides replacement parts or a credit at its discretion.

What happens if I receive a wrong item?

If you receive the wrong item, ANVE will make it right — email photos and your order details to info@anvegroup.com within 5 business days of delivery and ANVE will ship the correct, authorized item at no extra charge. Keep all original packaging until the issue is resolved, since it may be needed to return the incorrect product. You can also reach the Paramus, NJ team at 201-742-5252 to confirm the details.

Do you offer replacement parts?

Yes, ANVE offers replacement parts: in-stock parts ship right away, while parts that must be factory-ordered can take 6–8 weeks to arrive. The customer is responsible for the freight cost from ANVE's New Jersey shipping point. Note that ANVE's 1-year warranty covers replacement parts for defects in material and workmanship; defective parts are repaired or replaced free, though labor is excluded. To request a part, email info@anvegroup.com or call 201-742-5252.

What are the conditions for the 30-day money-back guarantee?

ANVE's 30-day money-back guarantee gives you a full refund (excluding original shipping) when you return an item within 30 days of purchase, provided it is unused, uninstalled, undamaged, unaltered, and in its original packaging. Key conditions:

  • Items returned without original packaging incur a 25% restocking fee.
  • The customer pays return shipping, and refunds go back to the original payment method minus shipping and any restocking fee.
  • Final-sale items are non-returnable — including custom orders and custom vanities, cut-to-size vanity tops, kitchen cabinets and countertops, tile, mosaics, showroom samples, LED lighted mirrors and cabinets, and any discounted items marked final.

To start a return, email info@anvegroup.com.

What's your return policy?

ANVE accepts returns within 30 days of purchase for a full refund minus the original shipping, as long as the item is unused, uninstalled, undamaged, unaltered, and in its original packaging. Returns without original packaging are subject to a 25% restocking fee, and the customer pays return shipping. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Final-sale items — custom orders and vanities, cut-to-size tops, kitchen cabinets and countertops, tile, mosaics, showroom samples, and LED lighted mirrors and cabinets — cannot be returned. To begin, email info@anvegroup.com or call 201-742-5252.

What items are non-returnable (final sale)?

The following items are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded at ANVE:

  • Custom orders and custom vanities
  • Cut-to-size vanity tops
  • Kitchen cabinets and kitchen countertops
  • Tile, mosaics, and showroom samples
  • LED lighted mirrors and medicine cabinets
  • Any discounted or sale items marked final

All other unused, uninstalled items in original packaging can be returned within 30 days of purchase for a full refund excluding shipping. If you're unsure whether a specific product is returnable, email info@anvegroup.com before ordering.

Products, Materials & Care

What does MDF mean?

MDF stands for medium-density fiberboard, an engineered wood made by breaking hardwood or softwood into fine fibers and bonding them with wax and resin under high heat and pressure. The result is a dense, smooth panel that's generally denser than plywood. Because MDF doesn't expand and contract the way solid wood does with changing humidity, it's a reliable, low-maintenance choice for bathroom vanities. Many of the vanities at our Paramus, NJ showroom use MDF for exactly this reason.

Is MDF the same as particle board?

No, MDF is not particle board. MDF (medium-density fiberboard) is an engineered wood made by bonding hardwood or softwood fibers with wax and resin under heat and pressure, and it is denser than plywood. Particleboard is a different, less expensive waste-wood product made by combining and heat-pressing sawdust and resin. For bathroom vanities, MDF is a strong choice because it resists the expansion and contraction of solid wood.

What does acrylic resin mean?

Acrylic resin is a group of thermoplastic materials used to make very durable, clear products such as bathroom sinks. At ANVE Kitchen & Bath in Paramus, NJ, acrylic sink tops are valued because the surface is non-porous, scratch-resistant, and easy to clean. Have questions about acrylic versus other sink materials? Contact us at info@anvegroup.com or call 201-742-5252.

What are the measurements of this item?

Exact measurements for each item are listed on its product page, and most products also include a downloadable spec sheet with detailed technical drawings. Look for the dimensions in the product description and the downloadable spec sheet for precise sizing before you order. If you can't find what you need, email info@anvegroup.com or call 201-742-5252 and we'll confirm the measurements for you.

Does the countertop for this item have pre-drilled faucet holes?

Yes, all of our prefabricated countertops come with pre-drilled faucet holes, so they're ready to pair with a standard faucet at installation. This means you won't need to drill the top yourself for most setups. If you have a custom faucet configuration in mind, contact us at info@anvegroup.com or 201-742-5252 to confirm the hole layout before ordering.

Can I buy a vanity without a top?

Yes, ANVE sells select vanities without tops, and we also make custom vanities to fit your own countertop. If a product description states the top is attached, that vanity ships with the top installed and can't be ordered without it, though you can always remove and replace the top yourself after purchase. To browse cabinets sold without tops, ask us at our Paramus, NJ showroom or email info@anvegroup.com, and we'll point you to the right options.

Are the marble and granite vanity tops sealed?

Yes, our marble and granite vanity tops are pre-sealed at the factory, and we recommend resealing them about every 6 months to keep the stone protected. Resealing is quick and easy: spray the sealer evenly over the top, then wipe it down with a clean cloth, following the directions printed on the bottle. This simple routine helps prevent stains and keeps natural stone looking its best for years.

What kind of material is used to make this bathroom vanity?

The construction material varies by vanity and is listed in each product's description on its product page. ANVE vanities are built from materials such as MDF (engineered wood that resists humidity-driven warping), solid wood, and plywood, depending on the model. Check the product description for the exact material, or email info@anvegroup.com or call 201-742-5252 and we'll confirm it for the specific vanity you're considering.

Do your vanities require assembly?

No, ANVE bathroom vanities ship fully assembled — there is no cabinet to build. On some models the countertop is packed separately and only needs a simple installation onto the assembled base, which is usually a quick set-and-secure step. If you'd like to see how a specific vanity arrives, visit our 5,000 sq ft Paramus, NJ showroom or call 201-742-5252.

Do you offer custom bathroom vanities?

Yes, ANVE designs and builds custom bathroom vanities tailored to your size, finish, and configuration. To get started, visit our showroom at 129 E Route 4, Paramus, NJ, or call 201-742-5252 to schedule time with our designer. Our design services help you match the vanity to your space, countertop, and sink before you order. Custom vanities are made to order and are final sale (non-returnable).

Can you change the handles on the vanity?

All ANVE vanities arrive with the handles already attached, and we don't swap them for you — but you can switch the handles yourself after purchase. If you'd like a different look, simply replace the pre-attached handles with hardware of your choice. Questions? Reach us at info@anvegroup.com or 201-742-5252.

Should a bathroom mirror be the same width as the vanity?

A bathroom mirror should be a few inches narrower than the vanity or sink area, not the exact same width. For example, with a 36-inch single-sink vanity, choose a framed mirror up to about 36 inches wide so it sits neatly within the countertop edges. Over a double vanity, hanging two separate mirrors is easier to use and helps the bathroom feel larger. You can see mirrors and LED medicine cabinets sized to our vanities at the ANVE showroom in Paramus, NJ.

What is the best wood for bathroom vanities?

Solid hardwood is the most durable wood for bathroom vanities, with oak, cherry, and maple among the strongest choices. The trade-off is that solid wood naturally shrinks and expands as bathroom humidity changes, so it needs a quality sealed finish to stay stable. For this reason many vanities use engineered MDF (medium-density fiberboard), which resists that movement better in damp rooms. ANVE Kitchen & Bath carries vanities in a range of wood and engineered materials; the exact build is listed on each product page.

What material is best for bathroom cabinets?

The best materials for bathroom cabinets are solid wood, plywood, and MDF (medium-density fiberboard), all of which are durable and hold up well in a humid bathroom when properly finished. Each behaves a little differently: solid wood looks rich but moves with humidity, plywood is strong and stable, and MDF resists the expansion and contraction of solid wood while giving a smooth painted finish. ANVE Kitchen & Bath lists the material for each vanity on its product page, and our Paramus showroom team can help you compare them in person.

Is MDF good for bathroom cabinets?

Yes, MDF is a good choice for bathroom cabinets because it resists the expansion and contraction that solid wood undergoes as humidity changes. MDF (medium-density fiberboard) is engineered wood made from hardwood and softwood fibers bonded with wax and resin under heat and pressure, which makes it denser than plywood and dimensionally stable in damp rooms. With a quality factory finish it needs little upkeep, which is why many ANVE Kitchen & Bath vanities use it.

What is the ideal height for a bathroom vanity?

The ideal bathroom vanity height is about 36 inches from the floor, which suits most adults comfortably. Wall-mount (floating) vanities are the flexible exception: because they attach to the wall rather than the floor, they can be hung at your preferred height, typically between 30 and 36 inches. ANVE Kitchen & Bath offers both standard and wall-mount vanities, and the dimensions for each are listed on its product page with a downloadable spec sheet.

Is it easy to replace a bathroom vanity?

Replacing a bathroom vanity is usually straightforward, especially with smaller vanities, as long as you handle the plumbing connections carefully. The main thing to plan for is the flooring: if your old vanity sits flush to the floor and was installed before the flooring went in, a replacement may force you to either keep the exact same footprint or patch the floor underneath. If the floor was laid first, you can swap the vanity without disturbing it. ANVE Kitchen & Bath doesn't install but can recommend local installers in the Paramus, NJ area.

Does a bathroom vanity need to be attached to the wall?

No, a bathroom vanity does not have to be attached to the wall, though most are anchored to one for stability and easy plumbing hookups. You can also choose a freestanding vanity, which stands on its own legs and is popular because the open space at the back leaves room for the supply lines and drain.

At our Paramus, NJ showroom, ANVE Kitchen & Bath carries both wall-mounted and freestanding styles, plus custom vanities; call 201-742-5252 or email info@anvegroup.com for help choosing.

How high should a bathroom mirror hang above the vanity?

Hang a bathroom mirror so its bottom edge sits about 5–10 inches above the sink and a few inches above the faucet, with the overall mirror positioned roughly 4–7 feet off the floor. This keeps the reflection at a comfortable eye level for most users.

For sizing, the mirror width should be a few inches narrower than the vanity or sink. ANVE Kitchen & Bath in Paramus, NJ stocks framed mirrors and LED medicine cabinets to pair with single and double vanities.

Which is better for a bathroom: granite or quartz?

For most bathrooms, quartz is the easier choice because it is strong, stain-resistant, low-maintenance, and never needs sealing, while granite must be resealed periodically to stay protected. Both are durable and available in many colors and patterns.

The main difference is upkeep: quartz is a engineered, non-porous surface that wipes clean, whereas natural granite is porous and absorbs moisture if its seal wears off. ANVE Kitchen & Bath offers both as vanity tops; visit our Paramus, NJ showroom or call 201-742-5252 to compare.

Are quartz countertops good for bathroom vanities?

Yes, quartz countertops are an excellent choice for bathroom vanities because they are highly durable, resist stains, and require less maintenance than natural stone. Unlike marble or granite tops, quartz never needs to be sealed — its non-porous surface wipes clean with everyday cleaners.

This makes quartz a practical, long-lasting pick for a high-moisture bathroom. ANVE Kitchen & Bath in Paramus, NJ supplies vanities with quartz and natural-stone tops; email info@anvegroup.com for options.

Are bathroom cabinets waterproof?

Bathroom vanities are typically water-resistant rather than fully waterproof, made so by a water-resistant finish applied to the cabinet's surface to shield it from splashes and humidity. This protective coating helps the cabinet hold up in a moist bathroom environment.

Material matters too: MDF (medium-density fiberboard) resists the swelling that solid wood undergoes with humidity changes, so it performs well in baths. ANVE Kitchen & Bath in Paramus, NJ can advise which vanity construction suits your space.

What is an acrylic sink top?

An acrylic sink top is made from a group of thermoplastic materials used to create an extremely clear, very durable product for bathroom vanity sinks. Acrylic surfaces are non-porous, scratch-resistant, and easy to clean, which makes them a practical, low-maintenance choice for the bath. To compare your options, contact ANVE Kitchen & Bath in Paramus, NJ at info@anvegroup.com or 201-742-5252.

With no distributor, wholesaler, or middleman, we pass those savings directly to you, and we'll price-match a lower price you find on the same product elsewhere. What should I look for when buying a bathroom vanity?

When buying a bathroom vanity, start with your available space and the right size, then choose the countertop, sink, and style that fit your bathroom. ANVE recommends measuring your space first (an ideal vanity height is about 36", while wall-mount vanities can hang roughly 30–36"), then deciding between single, double, freestanding, or wall-mount configurations. For hands-on guidance, our designers at the Paramus, NJ showroom can match a vanity, top, and sink to your room — call 201-742-5252.

What is the most popular bathroom vanity color?

White and gray are consistently the most popular bathroom vanity colors because they read clean, timeless, and easy to pair with any tile or wall color. Blue vanities have also grown into a lasting favorite, bringing a calming, relatable feel to the bath. ANVE carries white, gray, and blue vanities — browse them online or see the finishes in person at our 5,000 sq ft Paramus, NJ showroom.

What is the most relaxing color for a bathroom?

Soft, neutral colors like ash gray and green are among the most relaxing choices for a bathroom, helping the space feel calm and spa-like. A muted green vanity, in particular, brings a natural, restful tone that pairs well with white or wood accents. ANVE offers vanities in these soothing finishes — visit our Paramus, NJ showroom or call 201-742-5252 for color guidance from our designers.

What are the best colors for bathroom design?

Some of the most reliable bathroom design colors are bright white, ash gray, gray oak, charcoal, and espresso — versatile, timeless finishes that suit almost any style. Warmer and richer tones like walnut, vanilla, rosewood, and French blue are also popular for adding character and depth. ANVE stocks vanities across this range; browse bright white and espresso options online, or see the full palette at our 5,000 sq ft Paramus, NJ showroom.

What is a timeless color for a bathroom vanity?

Blue is a comforting, versatile color that has become a lasting favorite for bathroom vanities. Its popularity grew after the Pantone Color Institute named Classic Blue its Color of the Year for 2020, and shades from soft French blue to deep navy have remained a relaxing, on-trend choice ever since. At ANVE Kitchen & Bath in Paramus, NJ, you can compare blue, white, and gray vanity finishes in person at our 5,000 sq ft showroom, or call 201-742-5252 for product suggestions.

What's the best color for a small bathroom?

The best colors for a small bathroom are light, soft paint colors, which open up the space and make it feel larger and brighter. Pale whites, soft grays, and light neutrals reflect more light and visually expand a tight room. For help pairing the right paint with a vanity finish, visit our Paramus, NJ showroom or contact ANVE Kitchen & Bath at info@anvegroup.com for design suggestions.

Are white kitchen cabinets or bathroom vanities going out of style?

No, white kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities are not going out of style — white is a timeless, classic finish that never looks dated. It pairs with virtually any tile, countertop, or wall color, so you can refresh the rest of the room over the years without replacing the vanity. ANVE Kitchen & Bath stocks a wide range of white bathroom vanities, viewable at our Paramus, NJ showroom.

What is the best flooring for a small bathroom?

Ceramic and porcelain tile is the best flooring for a small bathroom because it resists water, installs easily, and gives a sleek, classic look. These tiles handle moisture better than wood or laminate, making them the safest, most durable choice in a compact space. ANVE Kitchen & Bath carries a full selection of bathroom tile — see options in person at our 5,000 sq ft Paramus, NJ showroom or call 201-742-5252.

Should I use big or small tiles in a small bathroom?

Use large-format tiles in a small bathroom — they create fewer grout joints, which makes the room feel more open and spacious. Larger tiles reduce visual clutter so the eye reads the floor as one continuous surface rather than a busy grid. Browse large-format ceramic and porcelain bathroom tile at ANVE Kitchen & Bath's Paramus, NJ showroom, or email info@anvegroup.com for recommendations.

Should a bathroom be fully tiled?

Whether to fully tile a bathroom depends on your design taste — there is no single right answer. Floor-to-ceiling tile suits a more formal, classic look and is ideal if you prefer not to hang artwork on the walls, while partial tiling leaves room for paint or decor. ANVE Kitchen & Bath offers a wide range of bathroom tile and on-site design guidance at our Paramus, NJ showroom to help you decide.

How can I make a small bathroom look bigger?

To make a small bathroom look bigger, keep colors bright and light, maximize natural light, and use reflective and space-saving fixtures. A few proven design moves:

  • Choose light, soft paint colors and paint the ceiling the same color as the walls.
  • Add a sleek, backlit mirror and a glass shower door instead of a curtain.
  • Extend tile into the shower and run tile up to the ceiling; use large-format tiles for fewer grout lines.
  • Pick floating (wall-mount) vanities or open-bottom shelving to expose more floor.

ANVE Kitchen & Bath in Paramus, NJ carries wall-mount vanities, tile, and mirrors to pull this look together — visit the showroom or call 201-742-5252.

How much should it cost to remodel a small bathroom?

A small bathroom remodel typically averages around $7,000, though it can range from roughly $5,000 to $10,000 or more depending on materials and scope. Higher-end finishes, custom vanities, and extensive plumbing or tile work push costs toward the top of that range. ANVE Kitchen & Bath, a direct importer based in Paramus, NJ, helps stretch your budget with competitively priced vanities, tile, and fixtures — and price-matching on identical products.

Can I remodel a bathroom for $5,000?

Yes, you can remodel a bathroom for around $5,000 by focusing on cost-effective updates rather than a full gut renovation. Keeping the existing layout and plumbing in place, then refreshing the vanity, fixtures, tile, and paint, is the surest way to hold the budget near $5,000. ANVE Kitchen & Bath in Paramus, NJ offers affordable, direct-import vanities and fixtures plus free shipping to help you stay on budget.

In what order do I renovate a bathroom?

Renovate a bathroom in this order: plan and budget first, then demolish, rough-in plumbing and electrical, and finish surfaces before installing fixtures. A reliable step-by-step sequence:

  • Plan your design and set a budget.
  • Demolition, then plumbing and electrical rough-in.
  • Paint walls, install tile, and add the shower door or tub.
  • Install lighting, then choose and set your vanity and sink.
  • Finish with the toilet and accessories.

ANVE Kitchen & Bath in Paramus, NJ supplies vanities, sinks, tile, toilets, and mirrors for each stage — visit the showroom or call 201-742-5252 to plan with a designer.

Can I build my own bathroom vanity?

You can build your own bathroom vanity, but for a durable, water-ready result most homeowners are happier ordering a ready-made or custom unit from a specialist. A DIY build requires precise carpentry plus cutouts for plumbing and the faucet, and small errors are costly to fix. If you can't find the style you want off the shelf, ANVE Kitchen & Bath makes custom bathroom vanities to your size, finish, and configuration. Should cabinets be lighter or darker than the walls?

Lighter cabinets generally make a bathroom feel larger and brighter, so they're the safer choice if your space is small or short on natural light. When one or more walls are a dark or heavily textured color, lighter cabinets create an attractive contrast that keeps the room from feeling closed in. There's no strict rule, though, darker cabinets can look striking against light walls in a larger, well-lit bathroom. You can compare finish options on display at the ANVE showroom in Paramus, NJ.

Should bathroom floor tiles be darker than the walls?

As a general design guideline, keeping floor tiles darker than the walls and ceiling gives a bathroom a fresh, grounded, and sleek look. The darker floor anchors the space while lighter walls keep it feeling open, a balance that works in most bathrooms. It's a guideline, not a rule, so a light floor can still look great when the overall scheme calls for it. ANVE Kitchen & Bath stocks ceramic and porcelain bathroom tile, viewable at our Paramus, NJ showroom.

What are popular bathroom design trends?

Popular, enduring bathroom design trends include brass and warm-metal finishes, deep soaking tubs, integrated lighting, framed mirrors, and natural wood cabinet bases. These looks pair clean lines with warmth and texture, which keeps them feeling current rather than tied to any single season. At ANVE Kitchen & Bath you can explore many of these elements, freestanding and soaking tubs, framed mirrors, LED medicine cabinets, and wood-base vanities, on display at our 5,000 sq ft Paramus, NJ showroom.

Is gray going out of style for bathrooms?

No, gray is not going out of style for bathrooms — while more playful, saturated colors have grown popular and gray may no longer dominate as the single go-to shade, it remains a timeless, versatile neutral that does not date. Soft ash grays in particular create a calm, relaxing bathroom.

Gray also pairs easily with white and wood tones, so you can refresh a space later with a new backsplash or wall color without replacing the vanity. Browse gray vanities at ANVE Kitchen & Bath in Paramus, NJ.

What is the most timeless kitchen cabinet color?

The most timeless kitchen cabinet colors are white and gray, because they stay neutral and let you update the look over time with a new tile backsplash, wall color, or hardware without the cabinets ever feeling dated. These shades work across traditional and modern kitchens alike.

That long-term flexibility is why white and gray remain safe, enduring choices. ANVE Kitchen & Bath in Paramus, NJ carries kitchen and custom cabinetry in these finishes and others.

Are bathroom medicine cabinets outdated?

No, bathroom medicine cabinets are not outdated — they remain a timeless, practical storage solution that keeps everyday items tucked neatly out of sight. While some homeowners prefer open shelves to display beauty products, a medicine cabinet hides clutter and adds a mirror in one fixture.

Modern versions add real convenience, such as built-in LED lighting. ANVE Kitchen & Bath in Paramus, NJ stocks mirrors and LED medicine cabinets to match your vanity.
